![]() ![]() The countess cannot drop Act5Good at all, but it can drop lower treasure classes. The countess has a special rune drop which provides most of the runes up to Ist, the regular item drop doesn't contribute much (but goes to higher runes). Monsters have a hard limit of 6 items, usually the treasure classes limit their drops to fewer than that, act bosses and the countess are an exception. It is possible to extract them from the mpq files that come with the game but you can also download the files others extracted (look for "diablo fixed files"). For example some monster drop only 3 things (can probably roll 3 times Runes 17 TC if they are able to) while others like Mephisto can drop 6 things which are crucial information to do the math. ![]() But there are two things missing:ġ.) I need to know what's the probability of a A5G (see post above what that is) drop for a specific monster (post above specifies only a range not the exact pro: it says 1:150 up to 1:5)Ģ.) I need to know how many items from a monster can drop at maximum. I found rune drop rates here on reddit and information how the drop system works: It also will answer questions like 'How often do I have to run countess (in the mean) that my chance for an IST (or some different rune) is at least x%" and stuff like that.īut I need help. I want to write a little python program that calculates rune drop rates depending on Players X settings and the specified monster (for personal enjoyment -) ). ![]()
